The Ground

The Ground nonprofit was founded by Emily in 2019. The Ground offers social and emotional language awareness to combat negative personal narratives and support peaceful conflict resolution. The Ground currently offers programing at Kern Valley State Prison, Nightingale school in Stockton CA and in partnership with DEFY Ventures.

Our goal at The Ground is to recognize what we share, celebrate what makes us unique and support equity of opportunity for all people.
